The Legend of King Arthur - Destiny Scene Concepts

This has been a personal project that I wanted to finish. I never completed the old King Arthur's challenge and I couldn't quit the idea to try my own spin on the sword's lore. I was inspired by old forest ruins that lead to nothingness, and I wanted the sword to be hidden in a forbidden cursed dark wooded forest.

I had the itch to make the sword itself be this unnatural restrain to it's wild environment it was being protected under. The weapon itself is a very twisted artifact that was rumored to drive men mad with shame. Especially those with higher noble birth and prestige. Many did not know if the sword itself was causing this mania to these men, or if it was the humiliation for not being chosen. The beasts that surround it's proximity are also altered by the curse, and adapt to their new food sources of decaying knightly bodies and enchanted plant material.
